We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to change, modify or otherwise alter these terms and conditions at any time. Such changes and/or modifications shall become effective immediately upon the posting thereof. Please review the terms and conditions periodically. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of changes and/or modifications will constitute your acceptance of the revised terms and conditions. HOW TO ENTER
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. To enter, all contestants must first create an account with brighter-contest.com. Except for the contestant's e-mail, all information collected is strictly voluntary. However, brighter-contest.com will need a valid shipping address and may need to verify a winning contestant's age in order to mail prizes.
After registering, complete the online entry form supplied with each contest page, including supplemental materials when necessary. To be eligible, entries must be complete and received on or before11:59 pm on the closing date of the contest. Incomplete or late entries will not be considered. All entries shall become the property of Brighter Minds. Entries received by phone, fax, courier or postal delivery will not be accepted.
Contestants only need to register with brighter-contest.com one time, after which they may enter as many appropriate contests as they desire.

CONTEST RULES

1. The monthly contest is open to the general public. Employees of Brighter Minds and their immediate family members and persons with whom such employees are domiciled are excluded from the contest.
2. For children's contests, entries must be submitted by a parent or guardian to be considered.
3. All contests will run from the 1st of the month until the 25th of the month, unless otherwise stated within the contest information. The winner(s) will be announced by the last day of the month.
4. By entering the contest, the winner authorizes the use, without additional compensation, of his or her name and/or photograph and/or contest submission and state or province of residence for promotion and/or advertising purchases in any manner and in any medium (including without limitation, radio broadcasts, newspapers and other publications and in television or film releases, slides, videotapes, distribution over the internet and picture date storage) which Brighter Minds deems appropriate.
5. The prize is not redeemable in cash and must be accepted as awarded. Brighter Minds retains the rights, in its absolute and sole discretion, to make substitutions of equivalent kind or approximate value in the event of the unavailability of any prize or component of the prize for any reason whatsoever.
6. Decisions of the contest judges are final.
7. In accepting the prize, the winner acknowledges that Brighter Minds may not be held liable for any loss, damages or injury associated with accepting or using the prize.
8. This contest is subject to all federal, state, and local laws.
9. For prizes valued at more than $100, winners will receive an IRS Form 1099 reflecting the final actual value of the prize. Any and all taxes associated with the prize are solely the responsibility of the winner.
10. For photo contests, professional photos will not be accepted. Photos should be submitted in .jpg format and be less than 200K.
11. Winner(s) will be notified on or before the last day of the month. Prizes will be sent by mail within two weeks of notification.
12. These rules apply to all contests, but may be supplemented by or superseded by additional rules specific to a given contest. Any such rule amendments will be conspicuously posted on a rules page which will be accessible from a specific contest page.
