Heroes...

This contest has ended.
Congratulations to our contest winner - Mary M. from Randall, MN

Heroes come in all shapes in sizes. In Kung Fu Panda, Po is a lazy panda working in his family's restaurant. Only when the enemy, Tai Lung, rolls into town, does Po rise up and be the hero everyone needs him to be.

We at Brighter Minds want to know, who is your hero? Send us an email or leave us a comment telling us who you admire and enter the chance to win Kung Fu Panda Create-A-Story, Kung Fu Panda Fact Book, and Kung Fu Panda Magnetic Storybook.

my hero

My hero is my husband. He has gone through so many difficulties in his life and has met all the challenges with a grin. I know he will be a great role model and hero for our son.

heros

my hero is my older sister because she is the woman and mom that i aspire to be

I could name so many

As an adult, I could say Dalai Lama or Nelson Mandela or my mom. But if I asked my kids, I would get Harry Potter, Mario (as in Super Mario Bros.) or Ariel.

Hero is as Hero does!

My post-person is my hero these days. It's so darn hot and humid here that we dash from our a/c abode to our a/c car to our a/c office or shops, but my post-person walks uncomplainingly from house to house delivering our mail. A definite hero!

HEROES OF THE COUNTRY

Those I view as my heroes in life are the brave men and women who are fighting overseas for our freedom and future. Everyday I wake up in a country where I have the ability to vote and have freedom of speech and religion - this makes me remember these heroes. I find many people in my personal life inspirational, yet these are the true heroes in the world!

My hero, my Dad

My dad is my hero. He is a retired United Methodist minister, and has the faith of the Rock of Gilbraltar. He currently is deciding whether or not to have open heart surgery to repair an aneurysm, and though I am not at all ready to lose him, I have no doubt where he is going and that I will see him There again!

My hero is my family. I

My hero is my family. I would NEVER be able to pick just one because they have all had an impact in my life in one way or the other. I wouldn't be me if it weren't for each and every one of them.

Heroes TV

I admire Hiro from the television show Heroes :) *Thanks* for the giveaway!

My Hero is my Neighbor

My hero is my neighbor. She's a single mom taking care of three children, one of which is mentally disabled.

MY FAMILY

My family is the best! Always there when you need them! thanks

My hero is my husband. We

My hero is my husband. We have been married 59 years.

Heroes

The World is full of heroes.

My wife is. She is the best.

My wife is. She is the best.

My Dad, My Hero

My Dad is my hero. He's always been a wonderful and caring man. He's now in his 70's and is a wonderful role model for my children. In addition, he is caregiver for my Mom, whose not in the best of health. He cleans, cooks and takes care of her. He also loves spending time with our kids, so since we live a block away, our kids spend most of their time with my Mom and Dad. They really look up to him and so do I. Thanks for this giveaway.

My Hero

I would have to say my husband. We are raising our children for the second time and this time my husband is a stay at home dad. We have 3 children that went through abuse and neglect and he elected to stay at home to help with all the therapy appointments. Now how many men would stay home and raise three children at the ages of 10 months 4 and 6 years old. And one has a disability . He is a true hero..

My Mother, My Hero Through Thick and Thin

My mother is my hero because she is always there - lifting me up, making me smile and encouraging me through thick and thin!
She has been there since birth, and she is still there: helping me battle health issues and work related issues as well as attending every awards ceremony and concert/program that I am in. I am fifty something, and she is in her eighties, which makes me wonder sometimes how she is able to do it all. But, that's alright; she is always on call - my mother, my hero; my best friend to the end!

My husband

My husband is my hero. Life is not always easy, he had a rough start and pulled himself together. Now we are married for over ten years with ups and downs and he is caring, loving and always there for me. he is the one person I can trust with all my heart. He works hard to care for us and there is always a time that he has to leave because of the army and his private life has to stay behind. He is fighting for the rights and freedom of others while he misses out on his children's life. He is our hero.

My Hero

My oldest son struggles with a diblitating condition everyday. He is 21 years old and still insists on working and going to school every day he is able to. He has a big heart and always tries to do the right thing in any give situation. I am so proud of his never quit attitude and his beautiful smile.

my dad

my dad, he's always there when i need him

Heroes Giveaway

I admire Nelson Mandela

My kids

I am a single mom and they still love me anyway. Although, I am sure I let them down on a daily basis because of my depression and agoraphobia.

My mother-in-law

She was married to an abusive husband and left him when she was pregnant with my husband. She worked hard for more than 18 years to raise him and his brother up right, and they turned out well, despite living in South Central Los Angeles for much of that time.

My Hero

My hero is my son. My husband passed away almost 9 years ago when my son was 3 1/2. I know it's been difficult for me to raise him alone--I can't imagine what it's like for him. He tries not to let it get him down too much and does everything he can to cheer me up when I need it. He has more strength than I thought he would and I can't help but admire that.

Mom is my hero

My Dad has Alzheimer's and my Mom does an amazing job taking care of him--not an easy job and 24/7.

Hero

My brother was my hero especially during school days. He died and there is no one to take his place.

My friend is my Hero

My friend is my hero because she is a single mom who is struggling to raise her children.

My Little Heros

My Children are my heros. My 8yr old Dylan made me fall in love with life again after my brother died. My 5yr old, Ian allows me to see how fun it is to be silly! My 2yr old, Lauren teaches me what strength really is as I watch her thrive even with a heart condition and severe asthma, always with a smile. My 8 month old Will fills my heart with every toothless grin!! That child is so sweet and pleasant. Every day they teach me how to live and be a better person.

My Mother in Law

She has always been the best Mother in law always. She's now sick and old but she still worries about her kids and I've been one since I married her son. When my mom died. She called every night to wish me a goodnight and let me know I still had a "mom" who cared and loved me. :)

Military

My heroes are the men and women who serve our country. Thank you for all you do for the USA!

The members of the armed

The members of the armed forces of our country are also my heroes. They do so much for all of us.
